Glyn Barrett
National Leader
In September 2007, Glyn & Sophia pioneered !Audacious Church, an AoG Church in central Manchester. It has grown from 50 people in a back street warehouse into a multi-site, multi-generational church of 7 locations - 3 locations in and around Manchester plus others in Chester, Sheffield, Cardiff and Geneva. Their central location has an active congregation of over 4,000 people. They are currently about to break ground on a brand new purpose built Church facility which will include within it a 2,500 seater auditorium.
A powerful and sought-after communicator, Glyn's preaching and inspirational teaching continue to challenge and grow people of all generations throughout the world. He has been a regular speaker at many of the AoG conferences around the globe and continuously helps leaders break growth barriers in churches of all sizes. He also has strong connections with some of the most influential church movements and ministries in the world, with many of them included in his friendship circle.
Married to Sophia for 28 years they have two children, Georgia and Jaedon. Glyn is passionate about Assemblies of God and the Church as a whole in the UK and always seeks to champion local leaders to become all that they can be. He is currently studying for his Doctorate in Leadership and Global Perspectives recognising the ongoing need in himself to grow and develop.

Grayson Jones
Grayson Jones graduated from Mattersey Bible College in 1991. He was the senior leader at Darton, Barnsley for 11 years until he left in 2001. He and his wife Del, took over the leadership of Doncaster Pentecostal Church in July 2002 and have since transformed the church into what is now known as Legacy Church. Over the past 21 years the church has seen significant growth and they have also planted a location in Swansea.
Grayson has been involved in various roles within AOGGB over the past 30 years and brings a wealth of experience to the team. Grayson is married to Del and they have four children and seven grandchildren.
Andrea Rowan
Andrea Rowan is a passionate follower of Jesus who has been serving God in AoG for over 24 years. A Clinical Psychologist by first profession, Andrea carries an enormous passion to build healthy leaders, healthy churches and see every leader become all that God has called them to be.
Andrea is known for being a dynamic and prophetic speaker, frequently bringing a ‘now word of God’. She is able to bring practical direction, vision and empowerment to all and bring leaders and churches to the next level in their leadership.
Alongside her husband Mark, they are senior Pastors of One Life Church in Devon, in two locations and have just started a £1.5 million central church/community Hub building project. They also have two teenage boys Charlie and Zack and a golden retriever called Milly.
Danny Murphy
Danny, along with his wife Naomi and their three sons, moved to lead Life Church in Bedworth in January 2019. By God's grace they have seen the church become a thriving, diverse and multi-generational church with a vast array of ministries reaching many in the surrounding areas.
Having previously ministered in Bolton and Fraserburgh and having served as a Youth Pastor and an Associate Pastor, Danny has experience of leading in various church roles and community contexts. Danny loves the local church passionately and believes in its God-given mandate to bring redemption and restoration to whole communities. He loves to encourage and equip those around him to rise up in faith and wholeheartedly pursue the call of God for their lives and ministries.
Danny is a family man, a loyal Manchester United supporter, a curry connoisseur and an infrequent gym attendee!
Iain Duthie
A medical doctor by first profession, Iain Duthie grew the general medical practice of which he was a partner within the city of Aberdeen for over 20 years. His medical career included academic general practice as a senior lecturer at Aberdeen University medical school and also ongoing service as a Police Surgeon (Forensic Medical Examiner) with Police Scotland. In 2004 Iain left full time general practice and along with his wife Elizabeth (a primary school teacher) took on the leadership role at King’s Community Church, Aberdeen. God has been gracious over the past fifteen years with the church growing from just over a hundred to now around one thousand people who gather over four services every Sunday. The church is diverse with around forty nationalities represented from all ages, stages and backgrounds of life. Iain has served on the Scottish leadership Team for AoG for the past twelve years and on the training department of AoG for a similar period of time.
His passion is to build healthy people, a healthy leadership and a healthy church community that equips and encourages lives to be transformed through an ever deepening personal relationship with Jesus Christ; and for the local Church to be a light in the community as a ‘city set on a hilltop’. Iain and his leadership team have developed strong links across a diverse range of civic life within the city. The church is currently in a building acquisition programme and is committed to mission at home and internationally. Iain has five grown up children, all married, now with seven grandchildren; with four out of the five having married internationally and some settled all around the world. Iain is a graduate of Aberdeen University Medical School (MBChB) and is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners (FRCGP) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA)
Denise Curgenven
Denise Curgenven is a Lancashire lass who along with her husband Simon have been serving God at Hope Church Mid-Wales for over 22 years. Beginning as a Youth Pastor, Denise then transitioned to Associate Pastor and is now the Senior Pastor of the largest AoG Church in Wales.
Denise is a powerful preacher with a prophetic edge who is passionate about building people, building churches, and building leaders. She is a much sought-after Church and Conference speaker and is known for her love for the Bible and zeal for God’s House. Her no nonsense, straight talking style of ministry inspires people to believe for breakthrough and life transformation.
Simon Jarvis
Simon Jarvis leads the thriving One Church Network and is based in the city of Gloucester, UK.
The vision of One Church is expanding and now covers nine expressions, across the globe, with a heart to invest into more! Simon’s life calling is to grow people and help them discover their God-given potential. To “Live Big”! His zest for life bubbles over into everything he does, especially in leadership development and communication.
Simon has been married to Ally for over 25 years and they have two adult children, Jack and Abigail.
Simon is a keen West Ham & Gloucester rugby fan and enjoys swimming, reading and curry.
Derek Smith
Derek carries the overall leadership and vision across all six Kings campuses along with his wife, Georgina, they have been married for over 33 years and have 2 grown up children and 1 grandchild. Born and raised in Bolton, Derek initially trained as a landscape gardener before training for full-time ministry over 33 years ago.
After playing pivotal parts in the development of several church leadership teams, Derek and Georgina formed Kings in 2005. Under his leadership Kings has grown beyond Bolton to a multi-campus church. More recently Derek has become of the Senior Leadership Team for Assembles of God, where he takes responsibility for Church Health.
With a contagious enthusiasm for life and a down-to-earth gritty style, Derek's ministry has inspired and challenged people all over the world to grow into everything God has for them.
Misheck Manhanha
Misheck is married to Sharleen and they have four wonderful children who keep the homelife very active and loud. He is also the former Senior Pastor of Riverside Family Church, Southampton and the former Area/Regional leader for AoG churches in the Southwest. Recently appointed to take on the role of Church Planting Lead for the UK, Misheck and his family have relocated from Southampton to Manchester and he is thrilled to be able to serve pastors and leaders across the country in the area of planting churches.
With a strong passion for seeing believers become disciples, and disciples become witnesses (Acts 1:8), Misheck has been able to serve within various levels of church leadership and corporate leadership over the last 18 years.
