Young Lions
Young Lions, part of the Youth Alive department, has been shaping the next generation of AoG GB leaders for over 20 years. What began with 60 young people from churches across the UK attending a bootcamp-style weekend has since grown into a movement that has trained over 2,000 young leaders. Many of these individuals have gone on to lead in various spheres, making an impact both within the church and in the wider world.
With a vision to identify, develop, and assess over 1,000 young leaders each year, Young Lions continues to inspire and equip future leaders through a dynamic mix of ministry, teaching, coaching, and practical challenges.
What is Young Lions?
Young Lions is 3 weekends over 3 years for young leaders between the ages of 15-19. It offers a unique mixture of ministry, teaching, coaching groups & practical challenges, all designed to identify, develop and assess the next generations of young leaders.
Coaching at Young Lions
We also look for older leaders who are skilled at developing this age group to sign up as a Young Lions Coach. Our Coaches are key to the success of a weekend, as we resource them to facilitate and assess the Young Lions Delegate’s journey over the weekend!

Young Lions
Academy
Young Lions Academy is a 2 year programme that can be used alongside the Young Lions weekends to help identify, develop and release young people into serving and leading in your local church. Our heart is to equip you to develop young leaders so that they can thrive both in your church and local community. We provide 10 video sessions per year with discussion outlines covering topics such as self leadership, having a christian worldview, living a missional lifestyle and many more. We also provide a resource hub that helps you as a youth pastor better learn how to develop young leaders.
Cost: £250 initial cost for 2 years worth of content and resources (£50 ongoing subscription for use after 2 years)
Additional optional delegate packs: £20 per delegate including a welcome pack, YLA Tshirt and journal.
